Northern Tights
The Northern Tights Tour is an outreach initiative that takes the ballet on the road. Every spring, the Alberta Ballet travels to schools in Edmonton and Northern Alberta where dancers demonstrate the beauty and artistry of ballet to student audiences. This program gives students the opportunity to learn about ballet and watch a live performance which many would otherwise not have the chance to see.
Alberta Ballet, RBC, through its charitable foundation, and Alliance Pipeline are proud to share the beauty, feeling, and athleticism of ballet, as well as help develop an appreciation of all art forms, to children that might not otherwise have this opportunity.
I have never been to a ballet before so this was really exciting for me!
