Review: Alice in Wonderland

Alberta Ballet's been taking tea with the Mad Hatter and this particular brew as steeped, stirred and sweetened by choreographer Edmund Stripe serves up a little something for everyone at the table.
His first act shows us Alice's Wonderland through the wacky characters she meets; the agitated White Rabbit danced magnificently by Yukichi Hattori, twitching and bounding about in a terrible rush, a veritable parade of strange and colourful creatures swimming in a massive pool of her own tears, a doped up giant Caterpillar lounging on a mushroom throne, and the scrapping Tweedledee and Tweedledum
