Choreography finds great fun down rabbit hole
Ballet adaptation of whimsical Lewis Carroll stories satisfies the child, old or young, in every audience

Alberta Ballet has been taking tea with the Mad Hatter, and this particular brew, as steeped, stirred and sweetened by choreographer Edmund Stripe, which first premiered in 2006, serves up a little something for everyone at the table.
Stripe has done an admirable job of loosely stringing together a series of odd adventures. The original material is a series of short stories made up on a whim by Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) to entertain the Liddell girls on picnics and outings that did not necessarily have a single narrative within them to steer the ballet from beginning to end.
