Alberta Ballet Dancers Show Fluid Movement at Calgary Festival
Calgary, AB - Alberta Ballet dancers Yukichi Hattori and Tara Williamson will be participating in this year’s Fluid Movement Arts Festival. The festival, designed to showcase contemporary dance and forms of physical performance, will feature productions as well as artist discussions and workshops.
Hattori and Williamson are two members of the Physical Therapy Cabaret group, who will be demonstrating the intersections between numerous art forms including dance, video, installation and theatre. As accomplished dancers who are both in their third years with Alberta Ballet, this performance will be a unique opportunity to display their talent to a receptive and diverse audience.
The Physical Therapy Cabaret group will be performing at the Auburn Saloon on Tuesday, October 7 and Thursday October 9, at 9:30 pm on each night. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from Theatre Junction at theatrejunction.com.
