ARTIST FUND

Albertans value innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity and Alberta Ballet lives those qualities in its inspiring creations; making magic out of music and movement.   Our thirty resident dancers – who come to Alberta Ballet from around the world as well as from here at home in Alberta - are extreme athletes, training from childhood to defy gravity, to build endurance, and to move with grace.  Alberta Ballet is also committed to growing new talent and that investment is in the School of Alberta Ballet.  Since its inception in 1991, it has grown into one of the leading dance training institutions in Canada with an enrolment of more than 500 students.  The School’s Professional Division focuses on students building toward a career in dance.  Today, four of our Alberta Ballet company of artists were former students of the School.

Support our dancers and gain an inside glimpse into their world by joining Alberta Ballet’s Artist Fund.  Adopt our entire company, one or more of our company of dancers, or a student enrolled in the Professional Division at the School of Alberta Ballet.  Choose the dancer or dancers that inspire you and make your contribution in their name.  By adopting a dancer you are supporting their growth as an artist, helping them to achieve their full potential, and allowing them to do what they love best - dance.

Adopt a Student
Support our students in the Pre-Professional Program at the School of Alberta Ballet.
• Minimum $240 annual or $20/month in
  monthly installments.

Adopt a Dancer
Support our dancers in our company at Alberta Ballet.
• Minimum $300 annual or $25/month in
  monthly installments.

DANCE CIRCLE

Dance Circle is Alberta Ballet’s prestigious donor program for supporters who want to be an even bigger part of the magic of dance and assist Alberta Ballet in sustaining its singular place in the arts of Alberta.  When you choose to become a Dance Circle member, your support extends beyond the footlights of the stage.  Donations assist us in creating exceptional seasons of dance by enhancing the opportunities we have to create and perform diverse and exciting repertoire.  Dance Circle support makes it possible to invite guest choreographers from around the world into our studios and onto our stages where they work with our company of dancers to create exciting new works for our performance season to present to you – our audience.  At the same time, these opportunities also enrich and benefit our dancers by challenging them artistically and adding new knowledge and skills that support their professional growth and development.  Dance Circle members also receive an enhanced experience at the ballet in recognition of their program support.
