Don’t miss the School of Alberta Ballet Professional Division students and Alberta Ballet Trainees perform an impressive triple bill to close this season, beginning with the beautiful romantic reverie Les Sylphides.

Produced in 1909 for Ballets Russes, this timeless ballet featured Anna Pavlova and Vaslav Nijinsky in principal roles. Originally choreographed by Mikhail Fokine and set to the music of Frédéric Chopin, it is considered by many to be the first purely abstract ballet.

The Year End Performance will also include a contemporary ballet piece choreographed by esteemed guest choreographer Josh Beamish, and the Grand Défilé, showcasing the tremendous talent and dedication of these accomplished students.
