Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Isabel received her early ballet training at Edge School before moving to England at 17 to study at Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. She is entering her third season with Alberta Ballet and was recently promoted to the Corps de Ballet for the 2025/26 season.

Her stage highlights include performing Mrs. Wolf in Francesco Ventriglia’s The Wizard of Oz, a Witch in Loughlan Prior's Hansel & Gretel, and in

Francesco Ventriglia’s Bolero. Isabel has also appeared in memorable productions such as Sir Frederick Ashton’s Birthday Offering and Studio Wayne McGregor’s Atomos.

In addition to her professional work, Isabel just recently earned her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Ballet from Middlesex University in London, England, and was awarded her Solo Seal by the Royal Academy of Dance.

Originally from Taoyuan City, Taiwan, Yi-Min received his professional training at Canada’s National Ballet School. From 2022 to 2025, he was a member of the RBC Apprentice Program with The National Ballet of Canada.

During his time with the company, Yi-Min performed in a number of productions, including MaddAddam by Wayne McGregor, The Nutcracker by James Kudelka, Onegin by John Cranko, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Christopher Wheeldon, Don Quixote staged by Carlos Acosta, and Swan Lake by Karen Kain, Christopher Stowell, and Robert Binet.

He has had the privilege of working with choreographers such as Robert Binet and Alyssa Martin. In 2020, Yi-Min was the recipient of the Peter Dwyer Scholarship, and in 2018 he placed fifth in the Senior A category at the Taiwan Grand Prix.

Yi-Min joins Alberta Ballet for his first season and looks forward to the exciting journey ahead.

Federico, originally from Modena, Italy, moved to Rome when he was 14 to train with the school of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. After graduating in 2024, he danced with the Rome Opera House in Rudolf Nureyev Cinderella, The Nutcracker and in Tout Satie by Roland Petit. Frederico joined Alberta Ballet for the 2024/25 season and danced the roles of Bums in La Sylphide, the popcorn variation in The Nutcracker and Porthos in A Thousand Tales.
