The Nutcracker Children’s Cast Auditions
Each year, young dancers join Alberta Ballet’s professional artists on stage for The Nutcracker at the Northern and Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditoria.
Children’s Cast auditions are held in Edmonton and in Calgary. Please note the different eligibility requirements in each city.
Edmonton Auditions - Sept 20, 2026
Open to dance students ages 9–17 from Edmonton and the surrounding region. Selected dancers will rehearse and perform alongside Alberta Ballet’s professional Company at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.
