Originally from Italy, Kevin Alsina began dancing at the age of eight and went on to train at the Accademia Antonella Bartolacci before graduating from the English National Ballet School under Viviana Durante. He started his professional career with Opera National of Bucharest, English National Ballet and Northern Ballet. His early training culminated in a performance of Frederick Ashton’s Les Rendezvous, including Derek Deane’s Swan Lake in the Round. Alsina has performed across the classical canon, embodying characters from lyrical princes to virtuosic ensemble roles, and contributing to modern creations shaped by leading contemporary choreographers.

Born in Calgary, Reine was very young when she moved with her family to the West Coast. While living in San Diego, California, Reine studied RAD with Francine Garton and was a commercial competition dancer in the southern California scene. She also studied ballet with Igor Yurlov, Barbara Seibert-Chatelain and Tony Calucci. After moving back to Canada, Reine studied at Canada’s National Ballet School, training with Lise Jordain and Raymond Smith, under the direction of Mavis Staines, and working with choreographers James Kadelka, Jera Wolfe and George Balanchine Trust rèpètiteur, Margaret Tracey. While at NBS, Reine performed with Paris Opera at the Palais Garnier in Gala des Écoles de danse du XXIe siècle, performing the Pas de Deux from James Kadelka’s Lay Dances. That same year, Reine graduated from NBS, receiving the Bernard Ostry Award. Reine made her professional debut with the National Ballet of Canada performing in ballets such as James Kadelka’s The Nutcracker and in Karen Kain’s Swan Lake. Reine continued dancing with the Arles Youth Ballet Company in France, working with directors and choreographers including Norton Fantinel and Karina Moreira, Kinsun Chan, Alfonso Palencia, Rena Butler and Richardo Fernando. Reine is thrilled to be performing with Alberta Ballet.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Danier began his training at STEPS Dance Studio. In 2019, He received a full  scholarship to train at the New Zealand School of Dance and graduated in 2021 after completing their two-year program. 

He later joined Alberta Ballet School’s Trainee Program in 2025 where he got the opportunity to work in variety of productions with Alberta Ballet Company including The Wizard of Oz, Don Quixote and Once Upon A Time – A Thousand Tales. Danier is excited to be a part of Alberta Ballet for the 25-26 season.

Kairi Watanabe is from Tokyo, Japan, and this season marks her first year as a dancer with Alberta Ballet after completing a season as a Trainee with the company. She trained in the Alberta Ballet School’s Trainee Program, where she refined her artistry and technique. One of her notable roles is Étoile in Paquita. She joined Alberta Ballet as an supplemental dancer for the 2025/26 season.

Born in Milan, Fulvio Gabriele Zamagna began his professional training at the Accademia Teatro Alla Scala in 2012. After his graduation in 2020, Fulvio started his professional career in Czech Republic dancing for the South Bohemian Theater.

During pandemic, Fulvio moved to Spain to take part in the Don Chisciotte production by Elias Garcia Herrera, touring Spain.

In 2022 he joined the Sibiu Ballet Theater in Romania dancing in different productions including the world premier of Romeo and Juliet by Macello Algeri and the Nutcracker, touring Netherlands and Belgium.

During 2024, Fulvio freelanced. He danced for Hong Kong Ballet in collaboration with Honk Kong Disneyland and had the chance to perform for the English National Ballet in Swan Lake In-the-Round by Derek Deane.

In October 2024, Fulvio joined the Scottish Ballet, dancing different productions like The Crucible by Helen Picket, The Nutcracker by Christopher Hampson and in the world premiere of Mary Queen of Scots.

At the end of that season Fulvio moved to Slovenia where he danced in Bolero and Sacre du Primtemps by Renato Zanella and in the Nutcracker by Youri Vámos.
